Muesli is made of a combination of grains, seeds, nuts and dried fruits. Granola is based on the same ingredients as muesli, but is roasted in an oven. However, we don’t add refined sugars or unhealthy fats in this process. Usually, we roast the granola with a little bit of coconut oil. Sometimes we also add maple syrup, agave syrup or fruit pulp to sweeten our products.
Your product must be stored in a dark and airtight container. You can use the zip-sealed FLOOM bag or opt for an airtight storage box or bowl.
All of our products are handmade and contain no preservatives. FLOOM granola and muesli can be preserved for up to 6 months at room temperature as long as your product is kept in an airtight container or in the zip-sealed FLOOM bag. You can find the expiry date on the FLOOM bag.
Most people choose to eat their FLOOM product with regular milk or yoghurt. This is a good idea, but don’t be afraid to mix it up once in a while! Try pairing your granola or muesli with plant-based products. This is not only a solution for people with allergies but can also be a good option to experiment with, even if you are not allergic. Some alternatives for cow milk are: hazelnut milk, cashew nut milk, coconut milk… Regular yoghurt is tasty, but have you already thought of greek yoghurt, skyr or curd? There are also plant-based alternatives for yoghurt like soy yoghurt. Provamel has some nice options.
If you subscribe to our FLOOM newsletter, you will get some original recipes in your mailbox on a regular basis. We already listed some easy and delicious breakfast combinations.
